Try elevating your legs at the time when you are resting several times daily in order to release the pressure build up in the veins.

Foods with Vitamin E

Vitamin E is known to be anticoagulant and antiplatelet in nature which helps in preventing blood clots. Some of the food items that you must include in your diet would be walnuts, spinach, avocado, broccoli, olive oil, sunflower seeds, almonds, etc. Doctors may also ask patients to take vitamin E supplements in some cases.
