A careful look at what you are eating and a regular weigh-in will help in your mission to reduce body fat. Start by getting into a routine, you may find it helpful to avoid that afternoon snack of chips and soda, and instead drink some water and eat a fruit. Correcting your eating habits will help you burn fat fast, but keep in mind; you do not have to stop ‘cold turkey’. You can begin slowly by eliminating a new junk food each day. This does not mean you have to go out and buy a complete set of barbells or weights and equip your home gym, you can use simple things around the house or garage for your weight lifting exercises. The key is not how much you can bench-press, but how many muscles you are putting to use. Here some ideas, a gallon of water weighs 8.33 pounds (3.8kg), fill an empty gallon milk jug with water, cap it tightly and place it on the floor. Stand erect in front of the water jug, bend forward keeping your legs straight and lift the jug to your chest bending only your elbow. Hold it there for a few seconds and then put it back down. Repeat this several times (repetitions). A standard brick weighs about 6.5 pounds (3kg); can you create some weight lifting techniques using a brick? You will burn fat fast by performing a few simple weight lifting exercises each day. As your stamina and endurance increase you can move on to heavier objects and more repetitions.

Keep a diary or daily journal of your activities. By writing down your weight, the exercises you perform and weight lifting you accomplish each day, you will be able to track your progress.
